Lyrics

Face one. Face two. Face three. Face four.

Once a dream, as silly as it seems, just to breathe without anxiety. Once a thought about anonymity, now advertised on a TV screen. It took millions of years and still it’s unclear how our ancient faces evolved this fear. Were those blue eyes or brown, blond hair or black? The images are blurry. Might as well attack.

Are they friends? Where did it begin and how will it end? Are they family torn apart by circumstance lacking evidence? Are they foes, ghosts that float, boats sailing unmapped, uncharted coasts? Are they kids hidden away? Don’t scrub those dirty faces lest they escape.

Are they men? Are they women? What makes the faceless so tireless and driven? Who made the kings who feed the queens? Those who are hungry, those filled with greed. They aren’t men. They aren’t women. There is no evidence that there is a heaven. So make a difference, make the most, and who will be there with a length of rope to wrap around those motherfucker’s throats?

That’s four. That’s three. That’s two. That’s one.
